The Emmi-Nail Ireland White Composition 100/100grit Straight file is an ideal file to bring Sculpting Gels into shape & shorten length quickly due to its coarseness. The White Forming 100/100grit is also perfect for removing Gel Polish Top Coat. This file is very durable and hard-wearing, washable and disinfect able. Thanks to the flexible core , it adapts ideally to the nail ensuring you file the nail exactly where you want.
Important File Information : The lower the grit, the more coarse/rough a file is, and the higher the grit, the more fine/soft a file is. Here is a handy guide to help you shop for the correct files for your nail salon.
- 80 grit – extra coarse – for large amounts of debulking or removal of Sculpting Gels. Do not use on the natural nail.
- 100 grit – coarse – to shorten length and file Sculpting gels into shape, & for removing Gel Polish Top Coat.
- 180 grit – medium – use on the natural nail during prep, for blending the tips, & for minimal debulking.
- 240/320 grit – extra fine – use for natural nail manicures & for extra file finish filing.
